Trump’s election may save lives. Many lives. The decline in white life expectancy in the US under Obama has been truly shocking. American optimism has been strangled in politically correct causes and government imposts. People no longer believe that life will get better, that their children’s future is likely to be better than their own. Holocaust survivor, Viktor Frankl, in his memoirs, makes clear the consequences:
“With his loss of belief in the future, he also lost his spiritual hold; he let himself decline and became subject to mental and physical decay.”
Little wonder then that first male and then female life expectancy fell. Obama may have passed Obamacare. But if he cared for people, he would have pursued different policies.
A vote for Trump was a vote for change. He is not beholden to the establishment. He is not wedded to past policies. He is committed to improving the lives of Americans. He has energized poor Americans and got them to vote for him. This instillation of confidence could arrest the decline in life expectancy. It could start saving lives. If the establishment thwart him, as the “progressive” rioters appear to be trying they will have blood on their hands. The blood may be hard to see, but it will be there nonetheless. It will be a statistical fact. The progressives ought to be ashamed of themselves. They have a lot to answer for.
Fear is a great persuader. Progressive use fear to make us accept changing our way of life. This progressive pessimism will have other consequences. It undermines our belief in the future. Depression, suicide and premature death are its handmaidens. Who knows what our average life expectancy would be, with our excellent sanitation, food and medical care. But the destruction of the spiritual sphere means we will never know.
Little wonder that the European “progressive” paradises are dying countries. They are truly unsustainable. Not through their resource use, but through their failure to procreate. They will either change or be changed. The mass immigration and lack of assimilation are nature’s way of forcing change. Nature abhors a vacuum. A people less Europe will not be. This will change:
“A total fertility rate of around 2.1 live births per woman is considered to be the replacement level in developed countries… In 2014, the total fertility rate in the EU-28 was 1.58 live births per woman.”
